WNPA supports the acquisition of knowledge through scientific research grants benefiting the management, preservation, and interpretation of park resources. The Association considers funding well-justified proposals in the natural and social sciences giving priority to park areas served by the Association. Applications for research grants must originate with a WNPA-affiliated park (click here to view currently-affiliated parks). The National Park Service Superintendent of the park must approve the funding request and submit a cover letter with the application. Download
