Park Store Coordinator, Part-time/year round: Part-time Park Store Coordinator
Lewis & Clark National Historic Trail, Omaha, NE.

Responsibilities will include overseeing store operations; assisting park staff with the planning and implementation of on and off-site events; working with volunteers to assist with tasks, to include preparing product displays and handling tasks related to merchandising; assisting customers with the selection of merchandise, making appropriate suggestions and locating and explaining the nature of interpretive items; collecting, securing, depositing and reporting receipts and overseeing such transactions; maintaining inventory and overseeing the flow of stock from storage to display to completion of the sales transaction. Requirements include a high school diploma/GED; previous retail sales experience preferred; ability to pass an NPS background check to obtain a necessary security clearance; current driverís license and proof of auto insurance. Compensation: $9.50/hour, plus store discount. Schedule: 12 hours/week, with a flexible schedule. Must be available to work some evenings and weekends, as needed, to assist with special events. Park Store Manager II: Full-time Park Store Manager II
Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park/Curecanti National Recreation Area.

Responsibilities will include managing the day-to-day operation of our stores; driving sales; planning, stocking and displaying merchandise; performing banking functions and financial reporting; managing inventory; building and maintaining effective professional relationships; and achieving a high level of customer service and satisfaction. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, bachelorís degree preferred; hands-on experience successfully managing a retail staff and operation preferred; strong collaboration, customer service and communication skills required; ability to lift/pull up to 50 lbs; must be able to pass a background check for access to federal data networks. Compensation: $14/hour, plus our full benefits package. Work schedule will be Tuesday through Saturday, 40 hours per week. Program Manager: Full-time Program Manager
San Francisco Maritime National Historical Park.

Responsibilities will include product selection and development, merchandising, marketing and promotions, retail sales, inventory control, budget management, planning, and financial analysis and reporting. The Program Manager will also be responsible for planning and implementing large-scale sales events, including managing associated promotion and marketing activities. The Program Manager will lead the hiring process of store staff and will supervise all paid and volunteer staff members, conducting regular and consistent training and performance management. In addition, the Program Manager will assist WNPA development staff with devising and managing a donated income program at SAFR and identifying philanthropic opportunities. Finally, the Program Manager will serve as the primary liaison between WNPA and the SAFR National Park Service staff. Requirements include a Bachelorís degree in a relevant field; a minimum of 5 years of management/supervisory experience, preferably in a retail environment, supervising staff, managing performance and achieving high standards of quality and productivity; demonstrated experience creating and conducting employee training programs; experience working with point-of-sale software and hardware; proficiency with Microsoft Office suite; experience planning and implementing successful community education and outreach programs; possession of a valid driverís license and auto insurance. Compensation: $55,000 annual salary (base salary of $45,000, plus regional pay differential) + full benefits package, including a generous retirement plan with an 8.33% employer match. Schedule: 40 hours per week; must be available to work holidays and weekends and be willing to work a flexible schedule for special events.
