PresentationPresented by Jim Turner

Jim Turner, editor of the classic travel book A Complete Motoring Guide to the Navajo and Hopi Nations, retraced the guide’s route in January 2013, updating information on dozens of intriguing American Indian trading posts, prehistoric ruins, museums, and natural wonders. Using pictures taken on that 2013 trip, this presentation creates a visual travelogue of a vast and enchanting land.  Jim Turner is a retired historian from the Arizona Historical Society and is now an editor for Rio Nuevo Publishers, a researcher for a best-selling author, and a Roads Scholar for the Arizona Humanities Council and Elderhostel.
