2 PM Only

As an acclaimed entomologist, Eric Metzler has studied moths at White Sands National Monument since 2007. Since then, he has identified more than 40 species of moths new to science, demonstrating that this magnificent stretch of glistening white gypsum sand is home to more endemic species of moth than any other location in North America. Join Eric Metzler to share in the excitement of the new discoveries that he has made and expand your scientific horizons.  WNPA Development Manager Amy Reichgott will also explain how WNPA was able to gain worldwide attention by auctioning off the naming rights to one of Eric’s discoveries.

To request a reservation, please call during business hours one week prior to the event.
