Delight in the wonder of words as the Tucson Poetry Society members share their poetry, including poems about nature’s wonders. Poetry most often captures a moment in time, an impression of place, beauty and pain touching us in a way that little else does. It is thoughts distilled to images. Please join us in celebrating National Poetry Month with two retired national park staff and the Tucson Poetry Society. 12 PM & 2 PM.

The purpose of National Poetry month is highlight the extraordinary legacy and ongoing achievement of American poets, encourage the reading of poems, assist teachers in bringing poetry into their classrooms, increase the attention paid to poetry by national and local media, encourage increased publication and distribution of poetry books, and encourage support for poets and poetry.

For reservations, please call during business hours, beginning one week prior to the event.
