The life-filled landscapes of the Sonoran Desert play an essential role in our city’s economic and ecological vitality.

Join Brent DeRaad, President and CEO of Visit Tucson, as he discusses how the tourist industry benefits our natural resources and how we can raise awareness of the desert’s wonders. Awareness and recognition of these landscapes create a unique opportunity to strengthen and connect existing protected areas. This talk will focus on the importance of our precious natural resources, without which, the Sonoran Desert, and all that depends on it, will struggle.

Talks at 12 noon and 2 PM. To reserve seats, call during business hours, beginning one week prior to the event.
