See the beauty of the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem.

Wednesday, March 14
12 PM & 2 PM

Shari and Richard Thompson present a fully narrated high-definition video of several winter visits they have made to the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem (GYE) over a period of 20 years. The GYE is a large area covering over 34,000 miles in northwestern Wyoming, Montana, and Idaho, encompassing Yellowstone National Park and Grand Teton National Park as well as parts of eight national forests and game refuges. In this video, you’ll see how bison, elk, bighorn sheep, and other animals cope with the harsh winter conditions in the GYE that last for nine months of the year. See the beauty of hoarfrost created by steam from thermal activity in extreme cold and the spectacle of sunshine on new mountain snow at over 13,000 feet.

To request a reservation, please call 520-622-6014 during business hours beginning one week prior to the event.
