Local author Dr. Jacqueline Soule discusses the blend of native and non-native plants that European-born newcomers relied on when founding missions in the wilds of the New World. Learn more about the fruits and herbs that helped sustain the missionaries and make life more livable for them, with focus on those that can be easily grown in the Southern Arizona landscape.
