Multi-instrumentalist Scott August is an award-winning composer and American Indian–style flute player known for his evocative soundscapes. August’s “bold yet laid-back style” connects the cultures of the past and the present. Performances on a variety of indigenous and ancient flutes will transport audiences to places unknown and unexplored. Yet the inclusion of a contemporary and soothing mix of pianos, guitars, and instruments from around the world will resonate with many cultures and create connections to stories old and new.
