Daily artist demonstrations by Salvador Baca, Virginia Lazoya, Jorge Quintana, and Aide Gonzales. Daily pottery firings at 11 AM & 2 PM.

Mata Ortiz pottery, with its spiritual and ancestral symbolism, represents the artistry and innovation of Puebloan culture. Mata Ortiz is a small pueblo located in northern Mexico, and the potters of Mata Ortiz draw inspiration from ancient Mesoamerican artists. Mata Ortiz potters balance ancient practice with contemporary flair.
