The work of the prominent Mexican artist, Frida Kahlo, has captured the imagination of people across the globe. Known for her intensely personal paintings, Kahlo dedicated her career to creating intimate expressive works. Learn more about this complex and creative personality and the paintings that express her love of nature and appreciation of beauty. Portraits of herself and others, still-life subjects, and plants and animals comprise her body of work.

This presentation will be presented by Stevie Mack. Stevie is the founder and owner of CRIZMAC Art & Cultural Education Materials, Inc. which publishes and distributes art curriculum and resources, conducts art-focused tours to domestic and international destinations, and offers lectures and classes on art and cultural topics.  Stevie has also co-authored two books, Day of The Dead (2011) and Day of the Dead Folk Art (2015).
