National Parks Store: Film–This is America

Celebrate the diverse history of national parks, with a mini-documentary featuring the extraordinary people who devoted their lives to protect and preserve these special places.

From Yosemite to Yellowstone, this mini-documentary celebrates the diverse history of America’s national parks. Directed and narrated by acclaimed filmmaker Ken Burns The National Parks: This is America encompasses the stories of the extraordinary people who devoted their lives to the national park ideal.

That ideal has evolved over the years; the national park story is complicated by competing interests–preservation and exploitation, the sacred and the profitable; between the desires of each generation to its promises of the next. As unique as each national park is, so too are the stories of the diverse people who have chosen to preserve and protect these special places for everyone.

Showings at 12 PM & 2 PM.
