National Parks Store: Film | Paso por Aqui

Over the course of several hundred years, thousands have traveled past this sandstone promontory in western New Mexico that is now El Morro National Monument.

The Zuni people referred to it as “Atsinna”; Anglo-Americans called it “Inscription Rock”; and the Spaniards called it “El Morro.” Over the course of several hundred years, thousands have traveled past this sandstone promontory in western New Mexico that is now El Morro National Monument. During their stay in the shaded oasis under El Morro’s cliffs, they inscribed their names, dates, and fragments of stories. Join us for these special screenings of Paso por Aqui. Narrated by Edward James Olmos.
