Margaret “Mardy” Murie’s worked diligently to keep the wilderness wild for generations to come. Arctic Dance documents her life and story. Known as “Grandmother of the Conservation Movement,” Mardy was awarded the Audubon Medal, John Muir Award, and the Presidential Medal of Freedom for her efforts in passing the Wilderness Act and creating the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge. Robert Redford says Mardy Murie is a national treasure. Join us for this powerful documentary to see why.
