Do you have a passion for music? Are you interested in exploring other cultures? This class is your opportunity explore your passions with an award-winning teacher.
Will Clipman is a seven-time GRAMMY® Nominee, three-time Native American Music Award Winner, Tucson Musicians Museum Inductee, and Canyon Records Recording Artist. Will’s enthusiastic instruction empowers drummers and would-be drummers of all skill levels to experience the magic and mystery of the percussive arts.
Participants in this exciting class will practice drumming, develop rhythmic awareness, integrate elements of melody, harmony, dynamics, and song arrangement—while learning individual indigenous rhythms. Rather than focus narrowly on one specific cultural tradition, this hands-on, fully participatory workshop explores the multicultural motifs that make rhythm “the universal language”.
$95 members/$115 non-members. Price includes instruction, access to percussion instruments, and lunch. For details contact Susan Cross at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 520-789-7405.
