Join Fred and Della Cruz as they share the treasured art of Native American basket weaving in a hands-on workshop. Basket weaving is an integral piece of many Native American cultures, often telling stories or serving as spiritual vessels. Share in this ancient art with Mr. and Mrs. Cruz, a husband and wife team from Bobcat Mountain Village near Sells, Arizona–the couple is renowned for crafting beautiful Native American baskets and lively human and animal figures. Wednesday, March 22. 10 AM–4 PM.

Join them as you learn the art of basket-weaving. Participants will learn about plants, materials, tools, designs, techniques, and customs associated with this unique art form. $110/members $130/non-members. Price includes lunch and all materials. Limited to 15 students.
