The cactus–that iconic symbol of our living desert. Its beauty is surpassed only by its variety. From the ribbed saguaro to the fuzzy teddy bear, the cactus has come to represent the very texture of the Arizona landscape.

Join John Durham of the Tucson Cactus and Succulent Society for a lively discussion of the Field Guide to Cacti and Other Succulents of Arizona. This guide is the definitive source for plant identification in the Arizona habitat. It includes a much needed update of the current taxonomy and distribution of native Arizona cactus and succulents. Members of the society travel all over the state to capture and document these important and beautiful plants.

Come share in the knowledge of experts, and deepen your understanding of our living desert.
