Saturday, July 25, 3pm or Sunday, July 26, 11am

This summer, Western National Parks Association presents a water lecture series at Lake Mead National Recreation Area!

Invasive species such as the quagga mussel are in Lake Mead, but there are many invasive species we still do not have. Join a ranger to learn about the harmful impact of the spread of aquatic invasive species and what you can do to prevent their continued spread. Meet at the Lake Mead Visitor Center Auditorium at 3pm.

Check out other installments of this lecture series:
Saturday, July 18, 3pm: Boating 101
Saturday, August 8, 3pm: Colorado Watershed
