National Parks Store: Desert Dwellers—Children’s Art Program

Fun games and creative crafts with acclaimed local artist Julie Rustad—what better way to entertain and educate your kids during the hot Tucson summer?

Join acclaimed artist Julie Rustad for an hour of creative learning that your children won’t forget. Julie knows that kids learn from the world that surrounds them. Her popular Desert Dweller Flash Cards bring the alphabet to life with beautiful colors and whimsical descriptions of your child’s favorite critters. Your kids can learn their ABCs while also discovering local desert wildlife.

Are the ABCs old news? Julie will also be helping kids create desert animal crafts. Your family will benefit from working with one of Tucson’s most influential artists. Julie Rustad is a local business owner, a designer, a painter, and a parent. Her flashcards bring together all of her passions, and she is so thrilled to share them with your children.
